These subjects are designed primarily for people who are employed in a Die Casting factory. This includes machine operators, die setters, furnace operators, supervisors, people involved in secondary operations (such as trimming, machining, plating and powder coating) as well as quality assurance staff. They are suitable for both new recruits and people who have worked in Die Casting for some time.
None of these subjects involve any calculations or difficult concepts, and they can be completed in any order.
Some of these subjects will also be of benefit to people in support roles such as warehouse, customer service and sales.
Additionally, some of the subjects will be useful for people who are new to the industry, and are planning to do the Technician Level Course.
Included are metal casting alloys of aluminum, zinc, magnesium, lead, aluminium bronze and brass using the cold chamber, hot chamber, high pressure, low pressure, gravity, permanent mold and sqeeze casting processes.
